Letter from the CEO

Dear Rewiring Business Community,

Over the years, I had noticed a clear gap in the knowledge centre business. We have had excellent business schools, corporations and consultancies create their own think tanks producing various papers and articles on a variety of business topics. I wanted to break this mould and encourage the leaders of today’s global businesses, academics and students from top universities to come together and share their practical thoughts to the rest of the world in a free service. This was a vision that I moved to create in November 2010.

Over the past few months, we’ve taken great strides toward the realisation of this vision. We now have a fantastic team of contributors who have held senior positions within some of our household brands. We are working closely with some of the world leading Business Schools and our demand has grown significantly.

Rewiring Business now has a great variety of topics that are covered regularly in the form of blogs and articles. We speak on Sales, Management, Marketing, Leadership, Strategy, Finance, Trading, Corporate Social Responsibility, Emerging Markets and many more topics that guide our business world today and tomorrow. This topic list is ever growing and as we welcome more contributors and partners, we will look to fully cover the business spectrum.

Our operating ethos is very simple. Information and knowledge should be available to anyone and so we encourage any business leader or aspiring leader to join our contributing team to discuss the field they specialise in. We believe that by bringing these professionals together, we can truly create a solid, diverse and truly beneficial knowledge hub.

I hope you all enjoy the site, the articles, blogs, videos and finally engage in some insightful comments. Indeed, you may also read this and wish to join our contributors’ team yourself.

Finally, it is a real pleasure to bring my vision for a free Global Knowledge Sharing Centre to you today.

Best regards,

Umar Gill
